My personal journey has been motivated by a longing for freedom of movement, spontaneity, and openness in relationships with myself and others. This is what I can offer to you here.
Boštjan Lužnik
Explorer
When I reflect on my path, my relationship to people, and the work I do, the word that comes to mind is “explorer.” I am an explorer of my own life, exploring why I am where I am, and why I am the way I am. To explore, I must be in touch with myself and everything that is part of it. This is the connection that enables freedom – freedom of expression, movement, feeling, and ultimately, personal satisfaction. Through years of inner work and exploration, I have re-established and deepened this connection.
Self-exploration and searching for answers to life’s questions has been a part of me since childhood. When the literature I read could not provide answers to all my growing questions, I began an individual psychotherapy process, which initiated and accelerated life changes that ultimately led me to become a Core Energetics and NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) practitioner.
Development
My journey has often led me into the unknown. For example, enrolling in a body psychotherapy school in the Netherlands, resigning from regular work and the career opportunities it offered, starting my own private practice in Slovenia, first in Ajdovščina and later in Koper, continuing my training in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) in Greece, and evolving the methods of my work.
My main area of work and exploration is the connection between the body, the nervous system, and inner stability, as well as creating space for greater regulation, emotional capacity, and authentic connection with oneself.
Professional education
I have undertaken a 2-year specialization and became an officially registered practitioner of the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) (2023-2024).
Besides that
- I work according to the ethical code of the European Association for Body Psychotherapy (ANG, SLO);
- I was an assistant in training in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) in Romania betwenn 2024 and 2026;
- I attend regular supervision;
- I have participated in a multi-year individual psychotherapy and therapy process using the psychodynamic approach, the Core Energetics approach and the NeuroAffective Relational Model;
- I regularly educate myself and explore other approaches and methods which involve working with the body in connection to developmental traumas and the nervous system.
